TosLab in Tromsø, Norway

In the Norwegian city of Tromsø is TosLab, which specialises in microbiological and chemical analyses within the fields of food, water, hygiene, and environmental protection. Due to a rapidly growing customer base, TosLab had to expand their laboratory facilities to handle the need for increased capacity.

To meet this growing demand for capacity, our long-term partner, Kilab AS, was tasked with designing and building an entirely new and modern laboratory. This project started from scratch and included everything from planning to the final realisation of the laboratory. 

For this project, JRV has supplied Kilab with extraction arms and hoods, which are crucial for maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Our products not only ensure user protection but also optimal functionality in the daily operations of the laboratory. 

Kilab was responsible for the installation and assembly, and the new laboratory officially began operations in October 2021. Feedback from TosLab has been overwhelmingly positive. They are particularly impressed by the way the new equipment has improved their work processes and increased their capacity to handle larger and more complex analyses.
