New LAF Cabin for Protection During Sampling
JRV A/S has delivered a customized LAF cabinet to the installation and service company Petrowsky A/S, which was responsible for its assembly and installation at Fertin Pharma in Vejle, Denmark. Fertin Pharma is known for its development of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products.
The LAF cabinet is designed with three solid walls and a top equipped with integrated lighting, while the front features slat curtains for optimal functionality and user-friendliness. The cabinet’s primary use is for unpacking during sampling, where cleanliness is crucial.
The air in the LAF cabinet is recirculated using two fans through a pre-filter, a bag filter, and a HEPA filter, ensuring clean air throughout the downflow area. The laminate cloth contributes to an even downflow at 0.45 m/s.
The LAF cabinet’s control system allows the user to select between half and full operation, turn the LED light on and off, and receive acoustic and visual alarms, ensuring continuous monitoring and control during operation.
