With a measuring bend makes it easily to measure regulation in a ventilation system or continuous control measurement of the air flow. It can be used for all types of ventilation systems both in connection with new construction and for renovation or energy optimisation of existing process or comfort plants.
The measuring bend is an energy-efficient measuring method that provides fixed measuring points in the ventilation system. The measuring bend does not increase the pressure drop, air resistance or operating and installation costs when it is placed where it is intended to mount a bend in the system.
Our measuring bend is a great low-cost alternative to the current measuring methods with remote output available on the market. These are challenged by adding extra pressure loss during installation as well as soiling over time, which increase the energy consumption.

Measurement:
The design of the measuring bend makes it possible to measure the pressure difference between two points, located on a line through the center of curvature, which can be read on a manometer. One measuring nozzles is located on the inner radius of the bend and the other is located on the out radius of the bend.
The two measuring nozzles are protected with plugs, which is easy to disassemble when measuring. The air flow through the bend is determined by formal and graf. The arrow on the bend indicates mounting in relation to the flow direction.
